I am looking for some materials about using TxRx CP head coil, about creating a phantom for quantitative MRS and about applications. I would be very grateful for literature suggestions.
It's worth looking at some of the spectroscopy analysis approaches- the LCModel approach for example and associated publications. The user manual (http://www.s-provencher.com/pages/lcmodel.shtml) for example covers phantom components in chapter 8.
You could also try Tarquin (http://tarquin.sourceforge.net/) which is free to use. Regarding phantoms, this really depends on your specific application. If your interest is brain tumours I'd recommend the review by Horska & Barker, Neuroimaging Clin N Am. 2010, or for more general applications in the brain the recent comprehensive review by Oz et al, Radiology. 2014.
In addition to the link provided by Curt on 1H MRS, you can check the link below (Mochel et al., 2012) for 31P MRS with visual activation. You should also see the supplementary files with the article to give you more information regarding preprocessing and quantification. LCModel is a very powerful but expensive software. This article will introduce you to the free software -- jMRUI.
To get into the quantitaitve MRS I would suggest going for Barker, Peter B., et al. Clinical MR spectroscopy: techniques and applications. Cambridge University Press, 2009. (Link below)
Another thing is that I would suggest looking for some works or R.J Gilles who did some extensive amount of work on pH measurements using 31P in tumors as well as used a lot of MRS in cancer.
I found phantoms recepies in the quantitative MRS to be basically the hardest part to find at least in the 31P MRS. In the normal proton MRS it might be easier but I hadn't any experience with that.
