Are students in expensive universities and colleges entitled to higher grades?

Students in expensive universities and colleges want an equivalent "bang" for their bucks. Some academic administrators call this ROI (return of investment). Is there a flaw in this argument? Or is it just a natural consequence of "doing business"?
