Are spin-off companies established in your universities that combine research activities with the industrial implementation of innovative new technologies created in these entities?

I am asking because I have noticed that in some universities such companies operating in the field of new innovative technologies are established, including in the field of research and industrial implementation in the fields of biotechnology, energy innovations, renewable energy, materials science, robotics, telecommunications, new online media, Big Data database systems, artificial intelligence, internet of things, machine learning, data processing in the cloud computing and other advanced information processing technologies typical of the current fourth technological revolution called Industry 4.0. These types of business entities are usually arranged to support the research, education and development activities of the university.

Do you agree with me on the above matter?

In the context of the above issues, I am asking you the following question:

Are spin-off companies established in your universities that combine research activities with the industrial implementation of innovative new technologies created in these entities?

I invite you to the discussion

Thank you very much

Best wishes
