I am particularly interested in this question as it refers to magnetoception and the studies that have found that certain animals can detect magnetic fields that are stronger than the earth's but cannot detect the earth's magnetic field. I am wondering then if brain signals, as a form of magnetic field, can be detected by the animals used in these studies.
