How these two journals, 'Key Engineering Materials', and 'Advanced Materials Research', are evaluated in academia? How is the overall quality of journals published by scientific.net? Why they don't have an Impact Factor on their website? Though, Scimagojr shows some impact factor for Key Engineering Materials. I would be glad to have opinions from experts. Thank you!
Both the journals you mentioned (KEM, AMR) generally publish conference proceedings or a complete thematic volume on a particular topic. I don't think you can send regular articles for publication in these journals.
As far as quality is concerned, I believe they are reasonably good for conference proceeding papers (fully peer reviewed). Don't go by the Impact Factors, I have come across some good papers in these journals. Please see the content and then judge yourself.
The AMR is not mentioned in Scopus and Web of Science databases from 2014, The KEM is in Scopus database and has IF 0,33 (2018) but is excluded from Web of Science database from 2014.
Accordingly, it depends on what you want: just print a paper somewhere or to have printed paper, which will read and cite others. If first variant, the mentioned journals are enough good but if second - no. You should decide yourself.
