I use the MIL-HDBK-217 standard for my study. I attached the table of diode base failure rates for different applications.
I read that these three DC-DC converters are as voltage regulator, then the value of diode base failure rate can be determined according to this table.
However, this statement is in contradiction with other published articles!!
What is your suggestion for this problem?

One thing you may want to note is the table you attached is not about the failure rate. It provides you a parameter. You can use this parameter, together with other parameters , to calculate the failure rates.
The MIL-HDBK-217 standard is a guidance map and it is based on old data. according to different technology, the value of diode base failure rate can be different from other. you can refer to ieee standards or other new standards.

Although the MIL-HDBK-217F is an old procedure, it includes different pi factors and it will be more conservative than other available standards.
In fact, this parameter is the base failure rate for diodes (its value will be chosen based on the diode application) not the total failure rate. My problem is actually what option from the table is suitable for my dc-dc converters.
The selection of base failure rate depends on its application in any standard (see attached IEC).

I think your question is not yet answered.
The diode used in the dc/dc converters operates normally at relatively high frequency and therefore the diodes used must be of the type fast recovery diodes and not normal power diodes. Schottky diodes can be also used for application in the dc/dc converter as they can switch fast.
Zener or voltage regulating diodes are not use in the dc/dc converters as they regulate the voltage by pulse width modulation.
If you specify the diode used by giving its data sheet, i can till you the class of that diode according to your table.
All what do need is to examine the data sheet as it gives the application and the type of the diode.
