I have already drawn attention in another discussion to the fact that the gradual weakening of the geomagnetic field in the modern era can play a major role in modern global warming. The weaker the magnetic field, the higher the temperature and vice versa. For example, sunspots appear darker and colder precisely because they have a significantly stronger magnetic field. Solar prominences are 2 orders of magnitude colder than the surrounding solar corona precisely because the magnetic field is enhanced in them. Over the past decades, the Earth's magnetic field has been gradually weakening, in particular, over the past 60 years, it has weakened by 3%. The "dynamics" of our planet have been studied for hundreds of years and are known (science of geology).

Our "air", which we take it for granted, is controlled "by the living". We have been dumping polluting gases into our air for at least 100 years.

Our air (atmosphere) is limited. If we pollute it, we have to live with the consequences. Our weather has shown signs of change , because our air is no longer the clean air we inherited.

If you want to experience our new phenomenon of the "Arctic Vortex" which brings temperatures down to minus 50 degrees C for a week now, just come and visit us!

This phenomenon never happened before. It is one of the results of our polluted air.

I think both work together to make changes in climate.

I feel what goes up will eventually come down .. so if we are driving the climate up, we might be in for a bad surprise when it comes down. Eventually, the laws of nature are stronger than us and will apply. We, in our ignorance, feel we can control nature.

Sizable climate changes often (by geological terms) happen in the past. The question is about upcoming climate change. That is a big question. But there is a bigger question to ask and answer.

We live in Holocene geological period when globally, the climate was remarkably stable. Holocene is a one-off event when we have a temperature plateau. In the past, at least during the last 450 million years, there were temperature peaks but no plateau. The most intense development of humankind occurs during Holocene. The link between Holocene and humankind development is discussed in my book "Subsurface History of Humanity: Direction of History."

The problem is nobody knows why we have a Holocene temperature plateau. Respectfully nobody knows how, why, and when Holocene will end. The biggest question, in my opinion, is this. Could humanity's contribution to climate trigger the end of the Holocene? And how close are we to it?

Dear colleagues, there is another significant factor - the progressive decrease in the Earth's albedo, i.e. decrease in its reflectivity. This gives the Earth an additional supply of energy from the Sun at a level of 0.5 Watt per square meter, see link:

The science is clear that human-caused climate change is taking the planet FAR beyond natural cycles. Claims that humans are NOT causing the problem are profit motive propaganda.

Human activities are the main drivers for climatic change, although the other dynamics may crop in.

Most probably caused by human activities
