thank you for your  kind information and help - so, in your coaching training,  you use the model, and judge it as very useful. I only found one translation - in English, and ordered it from Schulz von Thuns Institute. Which documents do you use, if I may ask? Are you using the German ones, in being able to read in German, also?

Besides that, you use a model issuing potentials. Is it possible to get a hint what it means? I downloaded your Italian text, and, if reading very slowly, I might understand it, but.....

Hi Thomas, the model is published in Italy under the title "Parlare Insieme" that means Zusammen Sprechen (I also speak German, not bad, but need improvements). This book helped for sure to spread its knowledge although probably it is not a bestseller, I adopted it in several of my courses (I have been teaching for some years in the Communication Science Dept of Bologna University before turning into freelance and international training). and there you can see an abstract of one of my models. The model I presented at ESA (European Space Agency) is instead a Communication Model useful for preventing or analyzing miscommunications, misunderstandings, disagreements and "incommunicabilities" (its name is 4 Distances Model and its is widely adopted in some specific unpublished literature in the Army but has not yet been published in books). you have been busy in quite some different contexts and countries, as I see :-)

And I think you developed useful tools to improve communication - also the 4 distance model, that I checked on your web site with interest, (http://www.danieletrevisani.com/emotions/Daniele_Trevisani_4_Distances_Model.htm)

Communication training in German health care providers would need improvement, such as with the tools you provide. At least, employees in primary care private practices are sometimes trained with aid of the 4 ears model - but I doubt if this is also the case for medical doctors.

Now I will continue to write a paper issuing practical consequences from our biopsychosocial model that we developed - hope I succeed...

thank you, and yes, that is a good idea! In fact, your distances model might fit in a new paper that I am about to write, I have to think more about your model and your convincing visualisaton to make an appropriate use of it, in case you would allow me to do.
