Joshua, Addition of any biowaste will improve soil health irrespective of whether it is peel,straw or anything else.
However it depends upon the. C:N ratio of biowaste which will decide it's decomposition period and then mobilizing the nutrients within it towards soil and upcoming crop.
Often, adding plant waste is useful for the crops and horticultural production,
But negative effect of some metabolites (such as phenolic compounds) in soil.
So produce compost (mixed waste and soil for several months) will reduce these problems.

Shibabrata Pattanayak yes Sir in my point of view it will be cost effective and has dual benefits first it will reduce the pollution which is made by the fruit peel degradation secondly fruit peel will use in effective way when we use it as bio-stimulant.
