Have been working on this theme for a number of years. Presented a couple of times at conferences. Particularly interested in explicit overlaps between social justice work in Higher Ed and Sustainability. Led a couple of projects linking Universal Design for Learning and Sustainability. Also fascinated by the notion of 'sustainable teaching practices'. Would be fun to create a community of practice.
Count me in! We just submitted and got accepted for a paper entitled "LEVERAGING ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION FOR ACHIEVING SUSTAINABILITY" for this international conference attached.

Conference Paper Leveraging Environmental Education for Achieving Sustainability

I was teaching process engineering classes to applied chemistry undergrads. I gave my students assignments work that focuses on answering sustainability questions. I had the greatest fun reading how as process engineers they thought of addressing MDGs.
I work for a university with a mission of access and excellence and often think about sustainability. The question that follows is, "sustainability at what cost?" Yes, I am interested.
Very interested in the area, particularly as I am involved with tourism undergrads and post grads.
I'm very interested, but at the present time, I'm in a situation with weather in Florida.
