The world has a carbon (CO2) budget of 900 Gt for 2/3 probability of staying below 2 ºC, which is not a safe target anyway. That´s 20 times 2014 global emissions. If we want to avoid climate catastrophe we need to be serious on what to do. Some sort of austerity must be implemented, but actual austerity is counterproductive in many ways. Any thoughts on this?
