How can we simulate a shorting pin in HFSS? If we have only rectangular sheet that i need it to connect both antenna and ground , is it necessary to have a certain boundary? or excitation in HFSS? If yes what it would be?
if you are using a sheet as a via you have two options either assign PEC to the via sheet for ideal simulation or better approximation will be applying finite conductivity with copper material to cater for the conductor losses. The best approach is to use a 3D cylinder to incorporate the inductive effects of via.

I agree with Muhammad Farhan. Use cylindrical shape as your pins then assign material as copper with finite conductivity. I have used this and it works perfectly. You can check my paper ( S-band shorted patch antenna for inter Pico satellite communications)
And if you need any material or more help you can contact me Mousa.
