Is there a tool to find researchers that specialize on a specific topics for instance "chitinase" "IL-12" "molecular beacons" etc.
I can find some labs and google scholar/pubmed helps but I was hoping if there was a tool that can find a researcher that publishes the most papers regarding that topic/keyword.
This is an excellent question for your reference librarian at the science library! They will be happy to train you how to do exactly this sort of thing
Might help to search on the NIH eReporter site to see people that have grants in that area, will just be US-based research though
Just keep in mind that "most published" is only one metric. You can also check article citation numbers, journal impact factors. There are likely to be numerous talented experts in any given area.
