Is there a good calibrated sensor that you would recommend to measure the Mean radiant temperature? Something that will let me connect to a computer and record the data over time. It would be better if I could connect the sensor to an Arduino/Raspberry pi and get the sensor measurements.
I did find some systems that can record the data to a SD card so I can import it into my computer later but I could not find something that enabled me to get the readings in real time to analyze them.

If you want a representative idea of the radiant environment, a net radiometer can be a useful device. However, these may not come in the price range you have in mind. For this situation, I would recommend that select your temperature sensor of choice (whatever is compatible with the rest of your system), do an initial calibration against an accurate thermometer, and place it at the center of a plastic ball whose outer surface is painted matt black. This gives you the black globe temperature and to convert that to mean radiant temperature, you can use the relation between them (consult ASHRAE Handbook, Fundamentals). For this measurement, you would also need to have a value for the wind velocity (required in the correlation).
Thank you Asit Mishra . I am specifically looking for something that I can use indoors for thermal comfort assessment. I would like to avoid building my own black globe and calibrating it. Is there a system you would recommend for this regardless of the budget?
In fact, my latest work showed that the globe thermometer is not suitable for calculating the mean radiant temperature in air-conditioned environments.
Surface temperatures have resulted in more accurate mean radiant temperatures indoors.
If this is the case, and if possible, I suggest that you use surface temperatures.
