Hello,
I am doing some research for my dissertation and require meterological (ppt and temp) data for Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh.
Although I have found some data for the Lahul and Spiti valley as a whole on the India Water Portal, I ideally want met data from Kaza as I know there is a rainguage/met station here.
I believe the Kaza data comes from Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE) as I have seen papers reference it in literature however cannot find an open access source for this - does anyone know where/ how I could access this data? (Sadly, as an undergraduate student, I don't have a budget to pay for data)

If it may help I have some data of a station at Chotta dara which is in the Chandra river(not continuous though). I'm not sure if it would be of help though. The data is from a small Davis Weather station.

Ellie Rowlands you can explore https://data.gov.in/ website. Once there, search for rainfall. You should be able to get the long-term rainfall data.

Hi Manudeo Singh - thanks for the reply. I have used that site for some regional averages and longer term trends however I can't find any Kaza specific data there?
