What limits the distribution and abundance of rusty crayfish within its native range? How do rusty crayfish affect other crayfish, fish, and plant populations and ecosystems within its native range?

I'm looking for information about the ecology and fine-scale distribution of rusty crayfish (Faxonius rusticus, previously Orconectes rusticus) within its native range. All the published literature I've found so far has been from studies outside of the native range of F. rusticus.

I'm trying to contain and reduce a population of rusty crayfish in a small stream in New Jersey (U.S.) within a National Park unit.
