Dear colleagues! Can anyone recommend books and / or articles on the financial policy (including money emission) of colonial empires in their Asian and African possessions? Especially British India and Malaya, French Indochina and Dutch India (present-day Indonesia). Apart from general economic histories of India, Vietnam etc., of course.
