Here is a nice article demonstrating how to use Excel (or Libre Office) to engage students in viewing and interacting with the dynamics of enzymatic reactions. A practical and active way for student to interpret enzyme assay data and learn about Km & Vmax, where the students may simulate substrate loss and the associated initial rate of the enzyme catalyzed reaction over time.
