Currently evaluating a model for xponics (to grow vegetable) that uses urine (diluted with water) as source of nutrients for the plants. The model lets recycling of the urine solution after going through the system to be used again. Current observation is increase in ammonia, Ph etc. Need literature to better understand what's going on in the system so as to improve the model under construction.
This is being done by some of the NGOs working in Sanitation space in India. Please search the internet for Bharati & Gramalaya and you can reach-out to them.
