RWJF's objective is improved health and healthcare for all Americans, so they look favorably on approaches that improve access to and quality of healthcare and are generally supportive of the Affordable Care Act that has expanded health insurance coverage to millions of Americans.  This would be considered a liberal political bias. However, RWJF is a highly respected, nonpartisan source of excellent research on healthcare policies and economics.

You are learning the important lesson that all research has perspective. Perspective always has the potential to create bias. Your best bet is to look for well-executed research from credible sources that disclose their funding and aren't trying to slant their research to achieve partisan or commercial aims. With that as a hurdle, I encourage you to read credible research from a variety of perspectives -- not just political, but also something from patients (or people who need care but can't get it) and providers. In mental health, pay attention also to the law enforcement perspective and the care and needs of persons in prisons.  In general, try also to look for sources with different gender, racial/ethnic and socioeconomic perspectives, depending on your topic. In economic issues, keep in mind that what is healthcare cost from one perspective is someone else's income.  That's probably bigger than your English class assignment, but it's a good practice that will help you better understand the world over time.
