Reporting data from NVIVO content analysis procedures on research papers has been an issue for me. So I was wondering ... are there any good examples or practices on how to do it?
Whether you used NVivo or any other qualitative data analysis program should not be an issue in reporting a content analysis. Instead, you should focus on how you applied the method (content analysis) rather than the specific tool you used (NVivo).
You could have a look at the procedures applied by Gandasari and Dwidienawati (2020) in their content analysis using NVivo. Here is the full citation.
Gandasari, D., & Dwidienawati, D. (2020). Content analysis of social and economic issues in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Heliyon, 6(11), e05599. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.heliyon.2020.e05599
I am not sure if I got your question correctly! NVIVO is merely an aid to analysis. It just help you maintain your sanity and get a hold of the numerous codes identified during content analysis. NVIVO has nothing to do with your publication (IMHO). However, you can use the frequency from the coding queries, and use the table of inter-rater coefficient if you are using inter coder comparison. You can also use the models drawn with it (but there are other much better options to do that, eg. Microsoft Visio).
