In my results sample attached below, We synthesised loaded mesoporous silica nano containers, so i correctly got peaks @ 1069 and 3388.72 of silicon and OH group respectively, but i am confused as to what refers at low wave numbers 966 and 800?
Any advise would we helpful

I attached a picture of FTIR spectra of three MCM-41 (mesoporous silica) for you, and the interpretation of their signals are discussed below.
The signals at 3435-3456 cm1 and 1632-1635 cm1 are attributed to the starching and bending modes of adsorbed water molecules. The signals at 1079-1088 cm1 are attributed to asymmetric vibrations of (Si-O-Si); the signals at 952-953 cm1 are attributed to asymmetric vibrations of (Si-OH); the signals at 804-805 cm1 are attributed to symmetric stretching vibrations of (Si-O-Si); and the signals at 459-463 cm1 are attributed to the bending vibration of (Si-O-Si).
If you need any further help for characterization of mesoporous silica, I suggest you to read my paper in which I synthesized and fully characterized mesoporous silica.

Peaks at 800 cm-1 are due to a symetrical SiO4 stretch. Peaks at 952 cm-1 are attribution to a vibration inside tetrahedral SiO4 units not coupled with the others of the silica framework, in your case it can be a SiO3OH or a SiO3-Fe ???. Have you checked carefully for the absence of Fe pollution in your sample ?
