I have developed an interactive app to illustrate the principles of combaning Uv-vis in transmission mode and elecrochemistry. To exploit the spectral part, I use the lambert-equation:

A = ε·C·x (where A = absorbance, ε = molar absorptivity, C=concentration, x=optical path)

For calculating the concentration I used:

C̄ = (1/n) × Σ Cᵢ

Where:

  • C̄ is the average concentration along the optical path.
  • n is the number of partitions (segments) of the optical path.
  • Cᵢ is the concentration at each partition point i.

I attach a figue of the ouput, and the link of the program.

I would like to receive some feedback since I'm not a 100% of the equation I used to detmine the absorbance signal.
