do you think amf and residue application have different effect at different stages of plant like flowering and fruiting stages of plant growth, if yes then please share with me these articles.
I think that AMF and residues play numerous rules in plant health and growth .Please take a look at "
Effect of the different timing of AMF inoculation on plant growth and flower quality of chrysanthemum" on Scientia HorticulturaeVolume 98, Issue 2, 18 April 2003, Pages 173-183.and the pdf,s below
Your question is really interesting. Meeting any crops nutrient requirement is a function of optimising its availability across phonological growth stages. Very often we advocate to practice multiple inoculation at more than growth stages or else , work out the most appropriate time of AMF inoculation..
Ali Alhayany sir, i am not talking about ornamental plants. i am talking about vegetable crop llike tomato, eggplant . i still did not found any article in which they work like this.for exaample in eggplant there is 7 to ten days different from flower set to fruit set, i want to know how much changes come during this period due to application of AMF and plant residue.
Very interesting feedback. I think, more than than flowering , the intensity of fruit will be higher plus turning them into a better sink for water and nutrients , as a result of AMF inoculation. In such short duration vegetable crops, presowing
inoculation would be the best time to derive maximum benefits from AMF inoculation..
