No , it is not possible to prepare ether from two alcohol using DMAP.

DMAP is an acyl transfer reagent that reacts regioselectively at the less hindered carbonyl site. convert one of your alcohols to alkylbromide as first step then do 2nd step reaction. Good luck.

No , the Mitsunobu reaction is fairly complex, many side products, but in general the yield is a round 40%..

Hello,

you can use a Williamson reaction. One of the alcohols is first converted to a leaving group (usually tosylate, or a Cl, Br or I using Appel reaction for example), then the two are reacted together. Most of the time you need a base strong enought to deprotonate your second alcohol.
