I am aware that UAVs are now available that can read the concentrations of various pollutants in the atmosphere and produce results on a real-time bases.
Has any one used this to sample air and gotten standard results? What level of accuracy can be attained with this method?

Makinde, there's been quite a bit of work on using drones in volcanology, i.e. to fly drones into gas/ash clouds to obtain samples or do direct measurements on the air composition/ gas species detection and quantification (for an example or starting point see this older paper by a former colleague of mine: Article Unmanned aerial vehicle measurements of volcanic carbon dioxide fluxes
