I think that after the pandemic, investments will be focused on high technology, artificial intelligence, pharmacy, medicine, information security and others.
Though things are still unfolding, I do expect to see more FDI inflows towards IT, biotechnology, inward FDI targeting the Local demand for manufactured goods is also a possible scenario, but this will be determined by adopted investment and trade policies by each nation state. We may also see expansion in medical tourism sector as the side effects of COVID-19 become clear. We may see relocation of manufacturing industries from one region to the home country or to a third country.
