I added Llanocetus to a large and growing taxon list (see below) and found it nested between Mystacodon and Zygorhiza, all arising from echolocating tenrecs, some of which were aquatic and long-tailed.

Mysticetes, when allowed to do so by taxon inclusion, arise from mesonychids, hippos, anthracobunids (including Mammalodon + Janjucetus), and desmostylians. The latter are largely toothless and have a larger suite of traits in common with mysticetes than any toothed aetiocetid or archaeocetid. Just test these excluded taxa to see for yourself.
