Hey researchers!
The journal I'm submitting to wants datasets to be listed in the reference as
[dataset] Authors; Year; Dataset title; Data repository ; Version; Persistent identifier (e.g. DOI)
where "[dataset]" at the beginning is literal. The type of other references (articles, books, etc) does not need to be prefixed in this way.
So, how can I get the [dataset] added to the beginning before author names using BibTex?
Example:
References
ref A; 2018; xxxxxx; xxxxxxxx
[dataset] ref B; 2020; xxx ; xx; xxxxxxxxxxx
ref C;2019; xxxxxx;xxxxxx
Yes, you can edit the reference of dataset according to the requirement of journal manually in Latex.
Change it .bib file or end of the .tex file (bibliography section).
One solution is "do it by hand", i.e.

{\bf References}
\end{center}
\hspace{0.5cm} ref A;
\hspace{1cm} 2018; xxxxxx; xxxxxxxx.\\
\hspace{0.5cm} [dataset] ref B;
\hspace{1cm} 2020; xxx ; xx; xxxxxxxxxxx \\
etc
Change the name of the first author from "First Family" to "[dataset] First Family" only when required.
