The previous suggestions are for people that would prefer to implement the behaviors themselves. There are commercial available software for room design such as EASE for air pressure distribution simulations.

You can specify the material with its absorption coefficients. There are also pre-defined material for you to use as well.

Hi all

EASE works if you want just to add metal foam in a room, and study the room acoustic behaviour with that material. But if you don't know the absortion of metal foam and your are aiming to study its acoustic behaviour, EASE will not help you.

Thanks SalvadorLuna-Ramirez. I'm thinking of COMSOL Multiphysics. Don't know if this could be a way out?

So let's roll back a bit. Are you interested in studying the math behind it or just the simulation results and learn the engineering way of doing it? If you would prefer the first one, I would recommend to find some reference materials such as papers and books and implement it in either MATLAB or Python. If you are however considering using simulation software, then EASE or CAD type software would do the job.
