I am currently in Malaysia. Last month, exactly on April 12th, we observed an abrupt change in the gravity acceleration measured at the base station. Our two autograv-5 instruments measured an abrupt increase in the gravity measured by about 2 mgals. the successive measures show restoration to the previous values before the change. I wonder whether any global phenomena could be the reason for this?

Can you tell me something about the duration of gravity increasing and can you send me a map of the two stations? What did the seismometers show?
Thanks Preston Guynn , I reviewed the list of earthquake events. It doesn't seem to me that such distant moderate earthquake could do such jump. The jump continued to the next day with curve indicating going back to the original state. Earthquakes generally are of short time period except shallow major earthquakes where surface waves will span longer time,

László Attila Horváth No information at the moment. I will go after this possibility. However, I believe earthquakes will have effect over short time span from few seconds to few moments except for large earthquake where surface may remain in effect globally for several days or even weeks

I suggest to detect any micro-pulsation associated with the magnetic field on the ground near your location and in the same time from LEO satellite over Malaysia.

The sent magnetic measurements’ data is not relevant because it cannot be benchmarked to something (example if we are going to the doctor and making X-ray image, he made an image about (example healthy and injured legs too)…
From the sent image we can read: that exist a tidal effect (6 a.m, and p.m 6)
The process which caused an increase of gravity field variation has begun after 02 a.m. and has a duration of approximate 12 hours…
The image origin seems is from Canada (Baker Lake zones)… Such a way do not consider my previously made responses, because my responses were connected to Malaysia, not to Canada! (such a way I do not know if my new answer is acceptable or not)

The most plausible explanation for the abrupt increase in gravity observed is that there was probably a tremour which was not felt at the surface. One of the most reliable precautionary signals before earthquakes or tremour is an abrupt increase in the gravity field just before the quake/tremour. This happens because deep earth materials such as asthenospheric mantle/mantle materials are transiently disrupted.
