I do not have much knowledge about clopidogrel action, mechanism to accomplish emboli staz. There was staz in the spleen that can be cause of an emboli, it cures. But I see chromosomal shape on the body of the patient after usage.

Is the DVT proximal or distal? I think it is important to decide the risks of travel. And, how long is the travel?

Twenty days after starting anti-coagulation, and under pressure of the patient's family, we allowed the patient to travel to Germany to continue her treatment their. As the trip last for 7 hours, we repeated lower limb Doppler; it showed partial re-canalization. The patient was on warfarin and the INR was 2.9. We advised the patient to be in the business class to rise her leg during the trip. also we advised her to drink much water. on the next day, we received a message from the family that the patient arrived safely to German.      

Because of efervesan effect in German, perhaps it can be used of water drinking in recovery truncate, but in another country, drinking water may not be safe. Drinking water because of heart insuffiency or diabetes mellitus following?

To my knowledge, there are no good data available to address this issue. We send most patients with acute DVT (many of whom have concomitant PE) home from the ER with LMWH therapy. Warfarin with a target INR of 2.5 (range 2.0-3.0) is highly effective in prevention of PE and recurrent DVT in a wide variety of thrombophilic conditions/situations. Unless she has metastatic cancer, rendering her highly susceptible to recurrence or has a very high risk of bleeding and needs 24 hour observation, I would not think twice about letting her fly.
