Is there any body who used vinblastin as a positive control of caspase 8/FLICE colorimetric assay?

I always apply actinomycin D but my cells don't have reaction to actinomycin anymore....I'm keen to know if vinblastine will work for positive control... Thanks guys

Anyone knows the problem of seeding when there is no cells in 96 well plate?

Im new in cell culture, I really stuck and dont know what should i do? Ive done seeding 96 well plate but after crystal violet, there is no cells or the number of cells is terribly low. my result...

Is it necessary to filter the DMEM, trypsin and PBS for cell culture use?

I see some of my friends filter their DMEM, PBS, trypsin for cell culture use. Can it depend on the type of cell? In witch situations must these be filtered? Anybody know?
