Adding fungicide to Minimal media plates for selecting arabidopsis thaliana transformants?

I was wondering if (to avoid fungal contamination during transformant selection) it is fine to add fungicide in the minimal media solution. Has anyone ever tried doing that?

Why is my TE-eluted cloned plasmid (isolated via miniprep) not freezing at -20 degree celsius? Is it normal?
