What medium other than ATCC 550 R 8 AH medium can be used to grow Rhodospirillum rubrum?

To anyone who happened to grow this strain, I am using Nutrient Broth to grow it in both liquid and agar. However, after 5 days, I cannot notice a visible concentrating of the cells.
