PLPDA have radiating element on both sides of the substrate. so how to apply port. i have attached the figure below.

I want to design a printed log periodic dipole array antenna on only one side of the substrate. is this acceptable one ?

actually for PLPDA, it is designed on both sides of the substrate for providing 180 degree phase shift between the elements
