How can I coat silica nano/micro particles with a thick gold layer?

Hello, I need at least 60 nm of a gold layer on top of silica beads in varying sizes from 0.4 - 5.0 µm. I could achieve very thin layers of gold. How could I get thicker layers? Thank you
