What should be the temperature to calcine chemically prepared Fe3O4 nanoparticles?

I am working on Fe3O4 synthesis. I have followed the co-precipitation route. I got the black precipitation which I presume to be Fe3O4. But, the problem arises when I am  calcining the powders....
