Frozen Tissue Immunostaining?

Is there a difference between immunostaining for 4% PFA-fixed tissue and frozen tissue? I would appreciate any guidance on immunostaining for frozen tissue, as this is my first time working with it!

Is there any Antibody to mark the cell shape of Neurons (Excitatory cells, Not Astrocytes) in Mice Brain Tissues for Immunofluorescent Staining?

I used VGlu2, and phalloidin Abs so far, but they didn't work. Any advice, suggestion would be great! I appreciate it!
