Why 18S rRNA gene can be synthetized by oligo-dT in RT-PCR?

Hi everybody, it is well-known that the 18s rRNA lacks Poly-A tail. I was wondering whether, why 18s rRNA gene can be amplified when cDNA is synthesized by oligo-dT?
