Can anyone advise on a homogenizer/tissue grinder for the extraction of proteins from samples of mites?

I'm looking for a suitable tissue grinder to homogenize whole mite samples. I'm going to use these extracts as antigens for coating ELISA plates. Thank you!

Does anybody know if ingested glucose is metabolized to proteins located in the exoskeleton of insects (especially in Tenebrio)?

I need to know if glucose is only metabolized to chitin concerning the exoskeleton of insects.
