What is a good positive control when doing PCR or immunoblotting for human Constitutive Androstane Receptor (hCAR) mRNA or protein expression?

We have used HepG2 but nothing shows up in those lanes after ECL, and for qPCR the signals were very low, almost not detectable. Any recommendations?
