What do you recommend about maintaining soil PH and controlling sources(spreading anthropogenically)of soil contamination due to heavy metals?

Heavy metals mostly have gradually decreased conc. with gradual rise of Soil PH and vice versa except in case of lead hence the mobility can also be controlled in such way to get rid of toxicity...
