Is it possible that protein has no/very less near uv spectra but showing fluorescence spectra and far uv spectra ?

My protein shows good signal in far UV and fluorescence spectra but in case of near UV there is very less/ no signal even at high concentration of protein. what will be the possible explanation...

Can same protein have different unfolding mechanism with different denaturant like urea and Gdmcl ?

In my case, with urea fluorescenece intensity increases with red shift and with GdmCl fluorescence intensity decreases with red shift.
