Output signal can be detected at forward connection but no signal can be detected at reversed connection for my PVDF-based piezoelectric sensor, why?

Firstly, the PVDF-based film is about 25 μm, and effectively poled. Secondly, the structrue of the sensor is PET/ITO/PDMS/PVDF film/PDMS /ITO/PET.
