I tried c18 and platinum columns also ion pair and B_CD were used, no separation was observed. Mobile phase , 90:10 v/v aqueous to organic solvent with and without buffer were not effective.

I am using acetonitrile and water as a mobile system and C18 column for separation of some drugs, but the obtained peaks were broad and tailed. How can I improve the shape of these peaks?
