In NGS analysis, we develop vcf file with information about the SNPs present. When a SNP can be reported to dbsnp as a significant variation?

A sequence sample when compared with reference genome, I could observe a lot of SNPs. I would like to also know about sorting out of the important variations.

Is statistical significance of PCA components essential, in order to proceed with the interpretation of the AMMI & GGE biplots!!?

Genomic selection is heavily reliant upon high density genetic markers!!

I came across the concept of genomic selection where it was given that, GS is adopted to reduce the cumbersome phenotyping procedure and elite lines are selected based on the genotype. Is that so!!
