I want to coat a silicon dioxide (SiO2) layer by gold or silver. Can someone please let me know which one would be better one in terms of adhesion to the SiO2 surface?

Using COMSOL is it possible to calculate the modal overlap between two different modes in the core of a ridge waveguide?

Using COMSOL I am trying to find out modal overlap between TE00 and TE20 mode, only in the core area of a ridge geometry. It will be helpful if someone can provide me any hint to solve it out...
