Can anyone suggest a protocol for nucleic acid (both DNA and RNA) extraction from dried mushrooms (Ganoderma species)?

The samples are almost 30 to 40 years old. I have tried few manual methods for extraction. However the quantity of nucleic acid obtained is not sufficient. Need your advice. Thanks
