I prepared deionized water through deionizer, but unfortunately the pH dropped to 5. Now how can i resume the pH to 7, to use this water in PCR and other solutions preparation?

What is the best temperature to store my Lysis buffer, 4'C, -20' or Room temperature?

I have prepared lysis buffer containing tris HCl, EDTA and SDS what is the best temperature to prevent it from pH shifting and reuse it. Containing 50mM tris HCL 20mM EDTA 10mM Nacl 2% SDS.

Can anyone help me how to extract DNA from bird’s feathers without using DTT? anyone who have extracted from fresh bird’s feathers without it?
